As a not-for-profit public university, our goal is to make your education affordable and attainable. You will need to submit your transcripts and finalize your enrollment, including credit evaluation and financial aid planning. The best part is that once you’ve completed the process, you’re ready to start learning, because you are already on campus.
Each program has different requirements for graduation and the length of time it will take you to complete a program will depend on your course load and how many transfer credits you have when you come in and how many alternative credits you are granted. Your academic advisor will be able to help you create a plan for completing your degree that will give you a sense of your timeline for graduation.
Bachelor’s degree programs require 120 credits minimum, while master’s degree programs require 36 credits minimum. See the specific degree program for details. Certificates and other degree optimization options have different requirements depending on your educational goals.
Providing the requisite information is important for enrollment at CSU-Global. Submitting your transcripts helps our degree audit and articulation analysts determine how you can maximize the number of existing credits you can count toward your degree. In addition, all official transcripts are required for financial aid distribution.
CSU-Global does not require GRE or GMAT scores for our master’s degree programs as part of the graduate admissions requirements. However, if you received your bachelor’s degree with a grade point average of less than 3.0, you will be asked to submit a statement of purpose that outlines other indicators of exceptional motivation, such as solid upper-division performance, GRE or GMAT scores, and relevant professional experience.
Burgundy and Gold tracks and are used to determine course term dates. If you enroll in A or C terms, you will be on Burgundy track. If you enroll in B or D terms, you will be on Gold track. Please contact your student advisor for more information.

Prospective military and veteran students can begin the admissions process by completing the streamlined online application. After you have submitted your application, an enrollment counselor will be assigned to help answer any questions.

CSU-Global offers a wide variety of transfer credit and credit by exam options. We accept up to 90 transfer credits, 60 of which can be nontraditional. StraighterLine, ACE, CLEP, DSST, and Military Credit via a Joint Services Transcript may all be accepted.
Once you have submitted your application for admission, you will need to obtain copies of your transcripts from all previous institutions. CSU-Global staff will determine which credits will transfer, and provide a degree plan that indicates which classes you will need to take, establishing a clear path to degree completion.
CSU-Global accepts all types of military tuition assistance and veteran’s education benefits. Students may also apply for Title IV financial aid. You should request information from your Education Office or contact the Veteran’s administration to determine your eligibility for military programs. We also offer a tuition discount for all active duty military, veterans, and their dependents.
Current military service members, their dependents, and veterans are eligible for a 10% military discount on tuition. Tuition for military-affiliated students is capped at $315 per credit hour for undergraduate programs, and $450 per credit hour for graduate programs. CSU-Global's Tuition Guarantee ensures that a student's tuition rate will not increase as long as they are enrolled. There are no additional student fees.
Active duty service members of any armed service, retired/separated personnel with an honorable discharge, and the spouse or dependents of an active duty service member are all eligible.
Active duty service members must provide copies of current orders, a Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), or another document that clearly identifies the active duty status. Retired/separated personnel with an honorable discharge must provide a copy of their DD214. The spouse or dependents of an active duty service member must provide documentation from the service member as referenced above as well as documentation showing their dependent status.

CSU-Global is committed to helping military students achieve academic and career success. An undergraduate or graduate student who is a member of the U.S. Military, National Guard, or other armed forces reserve unit who is called or ordered to active duty may be granted a Military Leave of Absence for the period of their service. When students are called to active duty after classes begin, they must contact their Academic Advisor to request a complete withdrawal from the current term and obtain assistance completing the Military Leave of Absence form. If students receive financial aid, they are responsible for contacting CSU-Global's financial aid office by emailing FinancialAid@CSUGlobal.edu with any questions and to make any necessary arrangements. Please review the Military Leave of Absence policy in the Academic Catalog for complete details.
The course pass rate for military and veteran students is 86 percent. The 1st to 3rd Term Retention rate for students who are military, veterans, and military dependents is 79 percent.
CSU-Global is one of a select number of schools to earn a "Military Friendly" designation from Military Advanced Education Magazine and GI Jobs Magazine. All CSU-Global academic and financial aid advisors and instructors, are formally trained to assist military students and their unique needs.
As a military friendly university, CSU-Global offers multiple systems of support and targeted resources for military students. Services include an internal task force dedicated entirely to addressing military and veteran issues, an early alert system that facilitates immediate assistance when a student shows signs of struggle, and robust career resources including job placement, resume help, and career events.
If you plan to use Military Tuition Assistance you should contact your Education Office on base to determine the process for applying for benefits. You will need to provide the authorization form to firstname.lastname@example.org once you have been approved for the tuition assistance benefit. If you plan to utilize Veteran’s Benefits, you will need to complete the Veteran Online Application (vonapp) at https://vabenefits.vba.va.gov. You will need to provide a copy of the application to CSU-Global in order for your benefits to be certified.
The certification period for each term begins two weeks prior to the start of classes, and is completed before classes begin. New students may be certified after drop date each term to ensure that students are active in courses prior to being certified.
Withdrawals are reported, and benefits are reduced from the last date of attendance reported for the course. You should contact the VA or your Education Office for further information on how withdrawing from courses may impact your specific benefits.
Students are eligible for VA benefits while under academic warning and academic probation. Students on academic probation are required to have a plan that will get them back into good academic standing within two trimesters in order to qualify for benefits while on academic probation.
While military students can take courses outside of their degree program, the VA will only cover courses that are part of their designated degree program.

CSU-Global welcomes international students in our undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs. All students will be required to submit their transcripts and speak with an enrollment counselor. In addition, students whose first language is not English will be required to adequately demonstrate English competency for admission.
Further, some foreign entities may not recognize CSU-Global’s degree programs. It is up to the student to ensure that their degree will be recognized for purposes of employment or other education programs.
