High school graduates (or GED equivalent) need the following for admission to the undergraduate programs at CSU-Global:
Applicants with less than a 2.30 cumulative GPA on all prior college credit are encouraged to apply for provisional admission.
Students who have a majority (more than 50%) of their cumulative credits submitted from a nationally accredited institution are required to apply for provisional admittance.

Applicants with less than 30 hours of credit will be required to complete general education coursework before starting their major program.
If you have no prior college experience, or less than 12 credits, keep reading to see if you qualify for our First Time Freshman program.
If you're interested in earning your master's degree at CSU-Global you should already have earned your bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a preferred GPA of 3.00.
Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 3.00 are encouraged to apply for provisional admission.

You can also apply as a non-degree seeking student, but this status prohibits you from receiving federal financial aid.
Prospective students seeking a certificate from CSU-Global must meet the requirements for either a bachelor's or master's degree, depending on the certificate program they wish to pursue.
For instance, in order to be admitted into an undergraduate certificate program, you must meet the bachelor's degree requirements for admission. Similarly, in order to be admitted to a graduate certificate program, you must meet the master's degree requirements for admission.
As a military friendly college, we have a streamlined process to make admissions for veterans and current servicemembers easy.
Transcripts from all previous universities, as well as from your branch of the services, are required. Applicants with transfer credit from the military which contains no GPA, will need to complete a Statement of Purpose to be submitted to the Admissions Committee for review.
It’s easy to apply for your online undergraduate degree at CSU-Global. Simply complete the following steps:
1. Complete our online application for military personnel college admissions.
2. Obtain official transcripts from all previously attended educational institutions.
3. Obtain transcripts of training and experience from your branch of the military.
4. Send your official transcripts to:

Once admitted to the university, you will be eligible for our discounted military tuition rate, which is guaranteed not to increase as long as you are enrolled.
In 2016 CSU-Global received state approval to accept students with little to no college credit. To help ensure student success, the university created a program especially for these First Time Freshman who are starting their college experience for the first time.

Many students enroll in a non-degree seeking (NDS) status prior to beginning a degree completion programs. If you don’t currently meet our admissions requirements, or are interested in learning new skills quickly, you can take a few courses to earn a Certificate of Completion.
If degree completion is your goal, you can apply for your desired degree program once you’ve met all the admissions requirements. Once accepted, you can enroll and transfer the credits you've earned.
Applications for degree seeking students will only be accepted for the next available term after the admissions criteria have been met.
Please note that NDS students are not eligible for financial aid.
We require all applicants whose first language is not English to adequately demonstrate English competency as a part of the application process. Students may demonstrate competency by submitting scores from IELTS (International English Language Testing System). CSU-Global requires an overall band score of a 5.0 or higher on the IELTS for admission.
CSU-Global only accepts scores submitted electronically by the IELTS test center. No paper Test Report Forms will be accepted. An institutional code is NOT required. Please contact the test center directly where you took the IELTS test and request that your test scores be sent electronically using the IELTS system. All IELTS test centers worldwide are able to send scores electronically to our institution.
Alternately, students may demonstrate competency by submitting test scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum score of 60 on the Internet exam, 173 on the computer exam, or 500 on the paper exam is required for admittance.
